Our superb restaurant offers excellent cuisine accompanied by fine wines. All of the food on offer is home cooked, using only the freshest of ingredients, many acquired locally. Our Chef Alan Hassan and his team pride themselves on the wide variety of dishes on offer, whether your choice is from the A La Carte or the Bar Snack Menu. For your starter - enjoy dishes such as Confit Duck Leg, Seared Fresh Salmon, Devilled Lamb Kidneys and Tiger Prawns Brochette. For the more traditional palettes there is Prawn Cocktail, Welsh Rarebit and Warm Fresh Asparagus. If your mouth is watering, then wait for the choice of Main Courses, apart from the traditional dishes such as Gammon and Egg, Sirloin Steaks, Steak & Kidney Pie and Fresh Salmon; there is a good selection of vegetarian dishes. For the more adventuress, you can choose from many individual dishes such as Chicken Breasts Wrapped in Prosciutto, Fillet Steak Medallions cooked in a Black Cherry and Kirsch Sauce, Beef & Stilton en Croute Topped with a Combination of Cheddar & Stilton Cheese, Salmon Penne Pasta in a Lemon, Dill & Cream Sauce with Fresh Parmesan or Roast Pork Fillets Stuffed with Tarragon & Apricots. This is just a small example of the menu available. There is also a daily board offering the Chef's specials, a separate Bar Snack Menu, as well as a sumptuous choice of desserts.
